Jason Sudeikis Says Future TED LASSO Projects Could End Up in Other Media Like Podcasts or Books

Ted Lasso Season 3 has come to an end, leaving fans wondering if it really is the end of the series, like the writers and creator Jason Sudeikis himself has said in the past. Many of them have also stated that there’s plenty of story left to tell within the show’s universe, but the three season arc they set out to tell from the beginning has been fulfilled, and there’s really just a question mark around its future.

Sudeikis recently talked about the possible future of his beloved show during a conversation with fellow Saturday Night Live alumni, Dana Carvey and David Spade, on their Fly on the Wall podcast. He said of the possibilities:

"Whether it's [a book], whether it's doing podcasts about the episodes to offer those audio commentaries ... Just to talk through things and the themes. And also it would explain the show in a much more cerebral way than I ever would have been able to explain it to anybody. Yeah, there's opportunities, I think, for spinoffs."

I would absolutely love to see the show move forward with more stories, specifically in the TV genre. I’d love to see the story of where Keeley and Rebecca left off. I think that would make for a great storyline, especially if Roy Kent was involved. I’d be happy seeing AFC Richmond in a spin-off, or even just Ted Lasso’s journey. Really, I loved these characters so much, I just want it to continue in any capacity.

What about you? Would you like to see a specific spinoff from within the world of Ted Lasso?
