Jaume Collet-Serra to Direct Survival Thriller PLAY DEAD - "DON'T BREATHE Meets 1917"

Jaume Collet-Serra, who recently helmed the Taron Egerton and Jason Bateman Netflix film Carry On, has found his next project with Play Dead. There are no plot details to share, but it’s a survival thriller described as Don’t Breathe meets 1917.

The film is being produced by Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert throught their Ghost House Pictures. It’s also being produced by Nocturnal, BoulderLight Pictures, and Bad Grey, with production to kick off at NantStudios in Docklands Studios Melbourne in May.

Collet-Serra Has made a few solid films in his career, which also include Orphan and The Shallows. He also helmed Jungle Cruise, Black Adam, Non-Stop, The Commuter, and more.

I wish we has more details to share regarding Play Dead, but I like the concept of Don’t Breathe meets 1917. That sounds like it could be fun.
