Jay Baruchel Directing GOON Sequel Starring Seann William Scott

If you missed the first season of Jay Baruchel's FX comedy series Man Seeking Woman, do yourselves a favor and catch up before the second season begins. It's funny stuff, and it's full of some smart observations about dating in 2015. Baruchel has been a player in the comedy scene for a long time, and in 2011, he and Evan Goldberg co-wrote a hockey comedy called Goon that starred Seann William Scott. There have been talks of a sequel for a little while now, but THR confirms that it's actually happening and that it has a title — Goon: Last of the Enforcers.

Scott is coming back to reprise his role as Doug "The Thug" Glatt "in a story that sees his team, the Halifax Highlanders, reunite with a host of new players during a pro lockout." Baruchel, who co-wrote the sequel's script, will also act in the movie and make his feature directorial debut on the project. Production starts next month in Toronto.

What do you all think? Are you a fan of the first movie? Looking forward to seeing Last of the Enforcers?
