Jay Lycurgo Cast as Tim Drake in DC's TITANS Season 3
Titans Season 3 is set to introduce Tim Drake into the series and he will be played by Jay Lycurgo. Drake will have a reoccurring role in the series.
Tim Drake is the third version of Robin in the DC Universe, and the version of the character that we’ll see in the series is described as “a streetwise kid who’s managed to grow up on the toughest streets without losing his indelible belief in heroism. His easy-going demeanor is backed up by a near-genius mind, a natural detective with a perception of detail far beyond his years.”
Lycurgo is actually set to appear in Matt Reeves’ upcoming film, The Batman, in a supporting role. It’s unclear who he is playing in the film, but I doubt that it’s Tim Drake because that’s a completely different Batman universe. But, this is the WB, so who knows!
The actor’s previous credits include the critically-acclaimed HBO series I May Destroy You and the Amazon short Father of the Bride. Lycurgo will also join series newcomer Savannah Welch, who is set to play Barbara Gordon.
