Jeff Bridges Is Back in Action in Badass Trailer for THE OLD MAN Season 2
FX has released a trailer for Season 2 of Jeff Bridges’ fugitive action drama The Old Man. I recently finished watching the first season and I loved it, and this next season looks great! This is an awesome and thrilling trailer!
The show is based on the novel by Thomas Perry, and the story centers on “Dan Chase who absconded from the CIA decades ago and has been living off the grid since. When an assassin arrives and tries to take Chase out, the old operative learns that to ensure his future he now must reconcile his past.
“With Dan Chase flushed out of hiding, the FBI’s Assistant Director for Counterintelligence Harold Harper is called on to hunt him down because of his complicated past with the rogue fugitive. When Chase proves to be more difficult to apprehend than the authorities expected, a highly trained special ops contractor is sent to pursue him as well.
“While on the run, Chase rents a room from Zoe McDonald who draws on reserves she never knew she had in order to survive the day when she learns the truth about her new tenant.”
In Season 2, “Former CIA agent Dan Chase and former FBI Assistant Director Harold Harper (John Lithgow) set off to recover Emily Chase (Alia Shawkat) after she is kidnapped.
“As the stakes rise and secrets are uncovered, Emily finds herself in an identity crisis with dire implications, and Zoe McDonald (Amy Brenneman) makes surprising moves into Chase’s world.”
The Old Man features episodes directed by Jet Wilkinson, Steve Boyum, Uta Briesewitz, Jason Ensler, and Ben Semanoff. Developed by Robert Levine and Jonathan E. Steinberg, with writing by Hennah Sekande and Daphne Olive.
