Jeff Bridges Joins KINGSMAN: THE GOLDEN CIRCLE!
Matthew Vaughn’s Kingsman: The Golden Circle just got a hell of an awesome cast member! Jeff Bridges confirmed on his Twitter account that he will be joining the cast of the highly anticipated sequel. Like the previous announcements, it came along with a teaser poster and this is the statement that it came with:
“The only Golden Circle I want vexing me is the one my glass leaves behind on the table.”
This means that he’ll be reuniting with his Big Lebowski and Seventh Son co-star Julianne Moore. Not much is known about the plot but we do know that it involves an attack on Kingsman HQ, and Eggsy and Merlin head to the United States to enlist the help from the Statesman, an American spy organization lead by a “swaggering, sharpshooting cowboy” named Jack Daniels played by Pedro Pascal and a woman named Ginger, who is being played by Halle Berry.
There's no information on who exactly Bridges will be playing, but there's no doubt he'll be awesome! Hopefully they have a badass action scene for him! He will also be joining Taron Egerton, Mark Strong, Colin Firth, Elton John, and Channing Tatum.
20th Century Fox is planning to release the film on June 16th, 2017.
