Jeff Goldblum Will Return as Dr. Ian Malcolm in JURASSIC WORLD 2!
Jeff Goldblum has been officially cast in Jurassic World 2! Life has found a way, and he will once again come face to face with dinosaurs as Dr. Ian Malcolm! This is the best news ever! I love Goldblum in this role that originated in Steven Spielberg's 1993 film, Jurassic Park. He went on to star in 1997's The Lost World: Jurassic Park.
There's no information on how big of a role he'll have in Jurassic World 2 or how exactly he'll fit into the story, but I couldn't be more excited that he's returning to the franchise!
J.A. Bayona (A Monster Calls) is directing the next installment of the franchise and Goldblum will join Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Justice Smith, James Cromwell and Toby Jones. Colin Trevorrow, who directed Jurassic World, wrote the script for the follow-up with Derek Connolly.
Goldblum will next be seen in Marvel's Thor: Ragnarok. Are you happy to hear that Goldblum will be back as Dr. Ian Malcolm?
