Jenna Ortega Talks Up BEETLEJUICE 2 Teasing That the Film Didn't Use Much CGI and Is "Visually, So Exciting"

Fans are looking forward to the second season of the Tim Burton-directed Netflix series Wednesday, but while we wait, Burton and Wednesday star Jenna Ortega have been working on something else that fans have been waiting for for decades. Beetlejuice 2 welcomes back Michael Keaton as the title ghost with the most, as well as original stars Winona Ryder and Catherine O’Hara. Ortega is joined with fellow newcomers Willem Dafoe, Monica Bellucci, and Justin Theroux.

While on the red carpet at the Emmy’s, Ortega talked up the new film, telling ET that making this movie "some of the most fun I've ever had on a set." She adds, "Visually, so exciting. Everything was practical. I think we're not using very much CGI or something like that at all," Ortega notes. 

When speaking on the cast, Ortega says, "Everyone did an incredible job. I felt so lucky to be there, it was insane ... I can't wait for people to see."

I can’t wait to check it out! Beetlejuice 2 is set to be released in theatres on September 6th.
