Jennifer Connelly and Ben Whishaw Set to Star in the Dark Comedy BAD BEHAVIOUR
Jennifer Connelly and Ben Whishaw are set to star in a new dark comedy film titled Bad Behaviour, which will be helmed by Alice Englert, who will be making her directorial debut. The rest of the cast includes Ana Scotne, Dasha Nekrasova, Karan Gill, and Marlon Williams.
The film will tell the story of a character named Lucy (Connelly), “a former child actress who seeks enlightenment at a retreat led by spiritual leader Elon (Whishaw) while she also navigates the close yet turbulent relationship with her stunt performer daughter, Dylan (Englert).
I imagine that things are going to get really weird for Lucy while staying at this spiritual retreat. I’ve been a fan of Connelly ever since Labyrinth. It was awesome to see her in Top Gun: Maverick, and this next film seems like it will be another great project for her.
The film’s production is taking place in New Zealand and is financed with funds from the New Zealand Film Commission, the New Zealand Screen Production Grant, Fulcrum Media Finance and Bee-Hive Productions with additional support from AHI Films and Images&Sound.
