Jennifer Connelly and Gwyneth Paltrow Are in SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING
Sony Pictures has released an official press kit for Spider-Man: Homecoming and it reveals a few things about the film that we previously didn't know. It's revealed that Gwyneth Paltrow will reprise her role of Pepper Potts in the film, which is kinda cool! We haven't seen Pepper since Iron Man 3 when she kicked some serious ass. I doubt she'll have a very big role in this, though.
It's also been revealed that Jennifer Connelly is in the film, but she is not reprising her role from The Hulk. She is playing a character named "Karen/Suit Lady," we have no idea who that is, but maybe she is someone who works for Tony Stark or even S.H.I.E.L.D. I love Connelly so I'm happy to see that she'll be in Homecoming. I'm curious to see how big of a part she'll play in the story.
The cast list also confirms who some of the other actors are playing. Donald Glover is playingAaron Davis, a.k.a. the Prowler and Michael Mando (Orphan Black) is playing Mac Gargan a.k.a. the Scorpion. There are also two Shockers in the story. The Herman Schultz version is being played by Bokeem Woodbine (Fargo), and the Jackson Brice version is being played by Logan Marshall-Green (Devil).
Stan Lee will be playing a character named Gary in his cameo role and Chris Evans is credited. I doubt his role in the film will go beyond the school videos that have been teased in the trailers.
