Jennifer Connelly In Talks To Join Tom Cruise in TOP GUN: MAVERICK
Jennifer Connelly is in talks to joins Tom Cruise in director Joseph Kosinski's Top Gun: Maverick. If cast, Connelly will play the movie’s female lead, who is a single mother who runs a local bar near the Navy base.
She will also join the previously cast Val Kilmer who returns to play Iceman and Miles Teller, who will star as the son of Goose.
The sequel takes place as Maverick becomes a Top Gun flight instructor and Teller joins up as a pilot and it will explore the antagonistic relationship between the two characters.
