Jennifer Garner Being Courted to Star in a Revenge Thriller Called PEPPERMINT

Jennifer Garner may be lacing up her ass-kicking boots up once again, that's because she is in talks to star in the revenge thriller Peppermint. The Hollywood Reporter confirmed the actress is in the running for the lead role in the movie, which will be directed by Pierre Morel. Morel is known for Taken, the action movie that relaunched Liam Neeson's career. Peppermint in many ways sounds a lot like to Taken:

The revenge thriller centers on a young mother who, after her husband and daughter are murdered, finds herself with nothing to lose. Ten years later, she vows to take from her rivals the very life they stole from her, targeting everyone from those who pulled the trigger to the lawyers and cops who let them get away with the crimes.

The project is being written by Chad St. John (London Has Fallen) and is already being described as a female version of John Wick.  

Peppermint marks Garner return to action. You may remember she broke into the genre as the star of J.J. Abrams' series Alias and also played Elektra in Marvel's Daredevil movie and its spinoff.
