Jennifer Garner Replaces Julia Roberts in The Apple Drama Series THE LAST THING HE TOLD ME

Jennifer Garner is set to star in the upcoming Apple TV+ series The Last Thing He Told Me. She replaces Julia Roberts who had to drop out of the project over scheduling issues.

The series is based on the book of the same name by Laura Dave and the story follows “a woman (Garner) who forms an unexpected relationship with her sixteen-year-old stepdaughter while searching for the truth about why her husband has mysteriously disappeared.”

Dave is adapting her book for the screen along with her husband, Josh Singer. Both will also serve as executive producers alongside Reese Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter.

Garner is also currently attached to star in another series set up at Apple titled, My Glory Was I Had Such Friends. That series is based on the Amy Silverstein memoir of the same name.
