Jennifer Lawrence Set to Star in a Murder Mystery Film THE WIVES

Jennifer Lawrence is set to star in a whodunit murder mystery movie titled The Wives, which is said to the in the vein of The Real Housewives. Lawrence will “get to feud, day-drink and access oodles of disposable income, at least until a body turns up.”

The project is set up at Apple Original Films and apparently a lot of other studios were trying to get their hands on it.

The Wives will be written by Michael Breslin and Patrick Foley, who are behind the play Circle Jerk, which was a Pulitzer Prize finalist.

Lawrence will also produce the film, which is being co-produced by Apple Studios and A24, which previously worked together on Lawrence’s 2022 film Causeway.

There are no other details to share on the project or what the story will entail, but it sounds like the kind of project that Lawrence will fit right into.
