Jennifer Lopez to Star in MARRY ME Adaptation

Marry Me is a graphic novel from Bobby Crosby and it’s being turned into a movie. The film will star Jennifer Lopez and most likely Owen Wilson who is currently in the final negotiations for joining the picture. This is an odd pairing if you ask me, but once I read the description, it made more sense.

“Marry Me centers on a pop superstar (Lopez) who, moments before marrying her rock-star fiance at Madison Square Garden, finds out that he was cheating on her with her assistant and spontaneously melts down onstage and picks a random math teacher (Wilson) out of the crowd to marry instead.”

The script was written by John Rogers and Tami Sagher with Harper Dill providing some rewrites. Marry Me will be directed by Kat Coiro. This could be a fun flick to watch on a Friday night. I’m interested to see the trailers.
