Jennifer Love Hewitt, Keith David, and Eric Roberts Join Live-Action Family Film PUPS ALONE

Jennifer Love Hewitt (Ghost Whisperer, 9-1-1), Keith David (Armageddon, The Princess and the Frog), and Eric Roberts (Runaway Train, The Dark Knight) have joined the cast of the upcoming live-action family film Pups Alone. Love-Hewitt will lend her voice to one of the “ragtag group of neighborhood dogs who team up to save Christmas from two bumbling thieves and their scheming boss,” while David and Roberts will play live roles alongside actor Brandon Burrows, who is producing the film as well as writing with Jason Gruich. Alex Merkin (Altitude) is directing.

Burrows said of the additions to the cast:

“I couldn’t be happier than to have Jennifer, Keith, and Eric join Pups. They are going to bring their very special talents and unique voices to the project, and I can’t wait to see what they do with the material.”

This sounds like a movie my kids will like. Hopefully it has some fun and humor thrown in to make it bearable for the parents who are watching it too. Pups Alone is currently filming and is set for a 2021 release.
