JENNIFER'S BODY 2 Officially in Production With Megan Fox, Diablo Cody and Karyn Kusama Set to Return

Fans of the cult classic Jennifer’s Body (2009) will be happy to hear that the long-awaited sequel Jennifer’s Body 2 is officially in production.

Dread Central exclusively reported that the film is in the works after a listing in Production Weekly tipped them off. They also confirmed that Megan Fox is returning to star, with Diablo Cody coming back to write the screenplay for returning director Karyn Kusama.

Co-star and Oscar nominee Amanda Seyfried has not yet been confirmed to return, but she has previously said she would not come back without Fox on board.

Now that she is, it seems the ball is in Seyfried’s court. No plot details or story premise have been revealed, but filming is set to start in Vancouver (the same region where portions of the first film were shot).

While the first movie about a newly-possessed high-school cheerleader who turns into a succubus, who specializes in killing her male classmates, was a major box office flop, the film has gone on to gain a following.
