Jeremy Renner Details Full Injuries in Preview for Upcoming Interview With Diane Sawyer Ahead of His New Series Premiere

Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) has sat down for his first interview since his snow plow accident three months ago. He has given consistent updates about his hospital stay and subsequent recovery, and he is back in front of the camera in an ABC interview with Diane Sawyer, in which he will detail the incident and talk about what’s next.

In the preview trailer for the interview, which you can check out below, Renner is interviewed, as well as his nephew, who he was saving in the accident, as well as his sister. The 911 call on the day of the accident can be heard, and Diane Sawyer runs down the entire list of injuries sustained by Renner, and it's pretty unbelievable that he made it! "Eight ribs broken in 14 places," Sawyer begins. "Right knee, right ankle broken. Left leg tibia broken. Left ankle broken. Right clavicle broken. Right shoulder broken. Face eye socket, the jaw, the mandible. Lung collapsed, pierced from the rib bone to the liver, which sounds terrifying."

Despite the extent of his recovery process, Variety reports that Renner will be in attendance on the April 11th red carpet premiere of his upcoming series, Rennervations, which is headed to Disney+. The series is centered on Renner and his team of experts turning decommissioned vehicles into everything from water treatment facilities to a mobile music studio to a community center complete with a basketball hoop. Working with his partner and friend Rory Millikin, lead fabricator Rob “Bender” Park, lead mechanic Corey Wardleigh, and build crew members Merri Oswald, Justin Self, Roxy Bonilla, Merri Oswald, Akamu “AK” Whatley, Skiland “Ski” Judd, Ryan Gunter and Nick Socha, Renner’s docuseries is the culmination of a passion for community building and retrofitting vehicle’s he’s been exploring for years.

Check out the trailer for Renner’s upcoming Diane Sawyer interview below, which you can watch on ABC on Thursday, April 6th at 10:00 p.m. ET, as well as the trailer for Rennervations, which will be available to stream on Disney+ on April 12th.
