Jeremy Renner Shares Video of Himself Running Uphill for the First Time Since His Snow Plow Accident Ten Months Ago
Avengers actor Jeremy Renner was in an accident at the beginning of this year, which almost took his life. On New Year’s Day, Renner was plowing the road about a quarter mile from his Tahoe home so his family could get out after a massive New Year's eve storm. After one of his legs was run over by the malfunctioning snow plow, and Renner’s doctor neighbor called 9-1-1, he applied a torniquet, and Renner ended up in the ICU in serious, but stable condition. It was later reported that he also suffered blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries, and it has been a long road to recovery.
Now, just over ten months later, the actor is back up and running, and he has video to prove it. Renner posted a video to his Instagram that shows him running up his steep driveway, and he said in the post:
Today marks the day on 10 months of recovery …. First attempt at any of this activity (especially at steep grade) and was brought to tears of joy, hopefulness, and gratitude for all your support along with my family and friends…. I keep pushing for many reasons, but you are my fuel 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 #loveandtitanium
It’s great to see how far he has come, and I hope it means we will see him back as Hawkeye in the MCU soon. Check out the post below:
