Jesse Eisenberg Shares His Excitement For Zack Snyder's JUSTICE LEAGUE Being Released
We’ve already seen several members of the Justice League cast share their thoughts and excitement regarding Zack Snyder finally getting to share his vision of the film that was originally meant to be. Now Jesse Eisenberg has expressed how he’s feeling on the matter.
While the actor has shown his support for Snyder in the past, he's admitted that he doesn't really know much about the "Snyder Cut" and never even saw the theatrical version. He just doesn't enjoy watching his performances in general. During an interview with Digital Spy, the actor said:
"I spoke to Zack a couple of weeks ago and he told me about it. Yeah [I'm excited], because I'm friends with Zack. I'm so happy for him that he gets to release something he's proud of.
"I mean, I can't think of any other precedent in history where there was something of this scope because it's not just about releasing the movie, but it required all of this... we call it post-production. So it's not just they're releasing scenes that are finished, they had to do a lot of post-production and it's such a big process. And yeah, I'm so happy for him.
"He's a great guy with a very, very specific vision and so, yes, I'm happy that he gets that. And he seemed really happy."
Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor was seen at the end of the film when he was hiring Deathstroke to take out Batman. Deathstroke actor Joe Manganiello has hinted that Snyder’s Justice League post-credits scene was once much different, so I assume we’ll see that scene play out differently. Maybe Lex had a bigger role in the story. I guess we’ll find out next year!
