Jesse Plemons Joins Leonardo DiCaprio in Scorsese's KILLERS OF THE FLOWER MOON
Jesse Plemons has made excellent choices in his career thus far, scoring roles in Friday Night Lights, Breaking Bad, Fargo, The Post, and most recently, Judas and the Black Messiah. Now, after being in the 2019 film The Irishman, he has signed on to reteam with director Martin Scorsese, for his upcoming true crime thriller, Killers of the Flower Moon.
Plemons joins Oscar winners Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro as well as Lily Gladstone. The film is based on David Grann’s bestseller and is set in 1920s Oklahoma. “Killers of the Flower Moon depicts the serial murder of members of the oil-wealthy Osage Nation, a string of brutal crimes that came to be known as the Reign of Terror.”
Plemons will play the lead FBI agent investigating the murders. Gladstone is set to play Mollie Burkhart, an Osage married to Ernest Burkhart (DiCaprio), who is nephew of a powerful local rancher (De Niro).
I am looking forward to this movie, and I’m really impressed with the cast so far. Killers of the Flower Moon is currently in pre-production and is set to land at Apple TV+.
