Jessica Jones Rumored to Return for Marvel's SHE-HULK Series
Marvel’s She-Hulk series will see Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black) take on the lead of Jennifer Walters, the cousin of Bruce Banner who inherits his Hulk powers after she receives a blood transfusion from him. Unlike Banner, however, when she hulks out, Jennifer is able to retain most of her personality, intelligence, and emotional control.
Maslany will be joined by Hulk actor Mark Ruffalo, who will be back as Banner, and Tim Roth will also be reprising his role as Abomination, the villainous character he played in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk. That’s certainly going to make things fun and interesting.
Feige has teased that there are additional certain characters who will appear in the series as well, and now ace entertainment scooper Daniel Ricthman is reporting that Krysten Ritter could reprise her role as Jessica Jones in the series.
It would certainly be cool if Ritter ended up joining the series! I really did enjoy her in the role of Jones, and it seems like the character would be a solid fit for She-Hulk. Also, if this ends up being true, there are several other characters from the Netflix Marvel world that could possibly appear.
When previously talking about possibly reprising her role, though, Ritter said, “Do I think I’ll play her again? I don’t think so. I feel like I’ve played her, you know? I feel really good about it. I feel good about closing the door.” But as you know, things can change, especially if Marvel comes knocking at your door asking for more.
This is just a rumor for now, but what do you all think about the possibility of seeing Jessica Jones appear in She-Hulk?
