Jillian Bell Joins Eddie Murphy and Tracee Ellis Ross in Prime Video Holiday Comedy CANDY CANE LANE
Jillian Bell (Brittany Runs a Marathon) has joined the cast of the Amazon Prime holiday comedy feature Candy Cane Lane, in which she will star opposite Eddie Murphy and Tracee Ellis Ross. Reginald Hudlin (Marshall, Sydney) is directing the film from a script written by Kelly Younger, who based the script on his own childhood holiday experiences. Producers include Murphy and Charisse Hewitt-Webster for Eddie Murphy Productions, and Brian Grazer and Karen Lunder for Imagine Entertainment.
The film’s synopsis is being kept under wraps, and this is the first film being made under a three-picture and first-look film deal between Murphy and Amazon Studios and will ultimately stream on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
I love Jillian Bell, and I think she is a great asset to any comedy she’s a part of. With Murphy and Ross, this movie is destined to be funny. We will let you know more info as the project develops.
