Jillian Bell Joins the Cast of BILL & TED FACE THE MUSIC
Actress and comedian Jillian Bell (Rough Night, Brittany Runs a Marathon) has joined the cast of Bill and Ted Face the Music. The film is currently shooting, and the cast just keeps getting better, with the original stars Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves and some returning familiar faces, as well as newcomers that include William Sadler, Samara Weaving, Brigette Lundy-Paine, Scott Mescudi “Kid Cudi”, Anthony Carrigan, Beck Bennett, Erinn Hayes, Jayma Mays, Amy Stoch, and Hal Landon Jr.
Bell will play the character Dr. Taylor Wood, a couples therapist to the stars of the film and their spouses. She is so hilarious, so I think this is a perfect fit, and she will make a perfect addition to the film.
Dean Parisot (Galaxy Quest) is directing the film from a script written by original franchise screenwriters Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon. Here’s the synopsis that was released for the movie:
Following 1989’s Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure and 1991’s Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey, the stakes are higher than ever for William “Bill” S. Preston Esq. (Winter) and Theodore “Ted” Logan (Reeves). Yet to fulfill their rock and roll destiny, the now middle-aged best friends set out on a new adventure, when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it and bring harmony to the universe. Along the way, they will be helped by their families, old friends and a few music legends.
Bill and Ted Face the Music will hit theaters on August 21, 2020, and I am so stoked! Are you excited for this most excellent sequel?
