Jim Caviezel Signs On for CBS Pilot About Navy SEALs

Actor Jim Caviezel has signed on to play a Navy SEAL in an upcoming pilot for CBS. Variety tells us Caviezel will play the role of Jason, who is the respected leader of a Navy SEAL assault team. The pilot focuses on Jason and his squad as they go about their daily lives and prepare for missions given to them by the U.S. government. The series is written by Ben Cavell, who also wrote Justified. There's no title for the show or indication that it could be green lit for a series, but we will keep you posted if it does!
