Jim Gaffigan Set to Play Mr. Smee in Disney's Live-Action PETER PAN & WENDY

In the best casting choice of the year, it has been announced that actor and comedian Jim Gaffigan has been cast as Mr. Smee in Disney’s upcoming live-action adaptation Peter Pan & Wendy. The character is the trusted companion of Captain Hook, and is a chubby, bumbling character that Gaffigan will add so much humor to, I’m sure. Jude Law is taking on the role of Captain Hook, Ever Anderson is set to play Wendy, and Alexander Molony will play Peter Pan. Yara Shahidi is playing Tinker Bell, and Alyssa Wapanatahk is set in the role of Tiger Lily.

I am a huge Jim Gaffigan fan, and this casting choice is a no-brainer. I am excited to see him in the role, as well as the rest of this cast that they are building. Peter Pan & Wendy is currently in pre-production and will hit Disney+ when it releases. What do you think of this casting choice?
