JIM HENSON'S THE STORYTELLER is Getting a Comic Mini-Series
Jim Henson’s The Storyteller is getting a comic mini-series. The other day, BOOM! Studios announced the 4-issue series based on the television series titled Jim Henson’s The Storyteller: Ghosts which will be published by their Archaia imprint. The first issue is being written and illustrated by Márk László with letters by Jim Campbell. In addition, the main cover is from Michael Walsh with a variant by László.
“In Scandinavian folklore, there exists a vengeful ghost known as the Myling. A man traveling at night comes across a haunting cry from within the forest. He enters it to find a spirit who demands to be carried to its proper burial site. The man agrees, but as he travels forth, the spirit’s grip tightens... it grows in size...and the man moves slower and slower. Can he unburden himself of this terrifying weight before it brings him down for good?”
You’ll be able to read The Storyteller: Ghosts #1 on March 11, 2020. Print copies will be sold exclusively at local comic book stores.
