Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik to Reprise Their BIG BANG THEORY Roles on Series Finale of YOUNG SHELDON
The Big Bang Theory actors Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik are set to reprise their roles from the popular TV show, which ended back in 2019, on the series finale of the Big Bang Theory prequel series Young Sheldon. They will return one last time to play Sheldon Cooper and Amy Farrah Fowler, though the details regarding how they will fit into the story of Young Sheldon are under wraps.
Young Sheldon is a prequel to Big Bang and follows the character of Sheldon during his younger years. Parsons played him as an adult in Big Bang and Ian Armitage brought him to life in Young Sheldon.
Young Sheldon is a once-in-a-generation mind capable of advanced mathematics and science which isn’t always helpful in a land where church and football are king. And while the vulnerable, gifted and somewhat naïve Sheldon deals with the world, his very normal family must find a way to deal with him.
In addition to Armitage, Zoe Perry, Lance Barber, Annie Potts, Montana Jordan, Raegan Revord, Emily Osment and Jim Parsons (as the voice of Sheldon) also star.
The final episode will air Thursday, May 16, on CBS and Streaming on Paramount+.
