Jim Parsons and Six Others Cast in Ryan Murphy's New Series HOLLYWOOD for Netflix
The cast list is filling out for Ryan Murphy’s Netflix series Hollywood. The director and writer known for American Horror Story, American Crime Story, Glee, and Pose will be helming this series alongside Ian Brennan, who worked with Murphy on Glee and Scream Queens.
The series just acquired JIm Parsons (The Big Bang Theory), Dylan McDermott (American Horror Story), Samara Weaving (Atypical), Maude Apatow (Euphoria), Joe Mantello (The Normal Heart), Laura Harrier (Spider-Man: Homecoming), and Jake Picking (Blockers). They join the previously cast Darren Criss (American Crime Story), newcomer Jeremy Pope, and David Corenswet (The Politician).
Murphy described the series as “a love letter to the Golden Age of Tinseltown.” The series will be set in the 1940s, and although we don’t have a full synopsis, we should get more information before the May 2020 release. Are you interested in this series?
