Jimmy Kimmel's Unauthorized "I Told My Kids I Ate All Their Candy 2021" Video
A new video has been released from Jimmy Kimmel Live! that features parents telling kids they ate all their Halloween candy. Kimmel has urged parents to take video of their kids’ reactions in years past, ranging from anger to sadness to kindness, but in 2020, he told parents to take a break from the prank. 2020 was a bad year for everyone, and kids didn’t need the rug pulled out from under them yet again. He didn’t resume the practice this year either, but parents took it upon themselves to send in hundreds of these videos, and Kimmel shared the best ones below.
We did not invite parents to take part in our annual YouTube Halloween challenge this year where they pretend to eat all their kids candy and record it. It just felt like kids have had it hard enough lately so we decided to hold off this year. But a lot of parents went ahead and did it anyway. So since the kids already got pranked we decided to show a few of them. Here is a tiny sample of the unauthorized and unwanted Halloween YouTube Challenge for 2021.
Check out the video, and don’t tell your kids you ate all their candy. Kids are still recovering from 2020, and we could all use a little kindness and predictability.
