J.J. Abrams Says the Absence of Luke Skywalker in the Trailer Is "No Accident"

After the release of the full trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, everyone was asking about the missing Luke Skywalker. He was nowhere to be seen in the video. Or at least, nowhere to be facially recognized. Speculations have been running around ever since. Could he be the hooded figure next to R2-D2 in the trailer? Could he not be? And if not, where is he? Why so much mystery? WHY?! WE WANT MORE!

I'm personally 100% convinced that the mysterious hooded figure is Luke Skywalker. After all, we know that Mark Hamill is definitely in the cast! So he is going to show up sooner or later!

In an attempt to cast some light on all the confusion, the director of Star Wars has revealed some...vague details. It’s not exactly a detail, but it's better than nothing. Walking down the red carpet at the GLSEN Respect Awards, J.J. Abrams dropped some spectacular news. Or is it really news or rather the ultimate confession that all of us, the Star Wars fans, have been waiting for?

Answering the questions of interviewers, he pointed out “It’s no accident” that Luke Skywalker is not in the trailer. But watch the video bellow and see for yourself what else Abrams said.

Oh, the excitement…

I knew it!
