J.J. Abrams Talks About The Pressure of Fan Expectations With STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS

Considering that this is the first year in a decade in which a new Star Wars movie will be released, and that film will be a realization of whispers and rumors of a new trilogy that have been floating around since the original trilogy came to a close, it's safe to say that anticipation for Star Wars: The Force Awakens is incredibly high. Co-writer/director J.J. Abrams is well aware of the pressure he assumed when he signed on to make this movie, and when you think about it, it's really more pressure than any one person should ever have to handle. He seems to be taking it pretty well, though, and in a new interview with MTV, Abrams spoke about the opportunity outweighing the fear, the buzz in the air during filming, and more.
