Jodie Comer Rumored to Be Cast as Sue Storm in Marvel's FANTASTIC FOUR Reboot
Emmy-winning actress Jodie Comer, known for her roles in Killing Eve, Free Guy, and The Last Duel, has been rumored to be joining Marvel’s reboot of Fantastic Four as the character Sue Storm. This rumor comes from industry scoopers who say we should hear confirmation of this rumor and other major casting news this weekend at Disney’s D23 convention.
WandaVision director Matt Shakman has been rumored to be at the helm of the film, and a writer has not yet been announced. While fans saw John Krasinski appear in the MCU as Fantastic Four member Reed Richards in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, that was simply an alternate universe cast, and not a sure thing for the future feature. He was the fan choice for the role, and his wife, Emily Blunt, was fan-cast as Sue Storm for years as well. A new rumor says Penn Badgley (Gossip Girl, You) could be cast in the new film as Mister Fantastic.
If this rumor about Jodie Comer turns out to be true, I think fans will be happy with her in the role. She’s good in everything! She’s a great actress and would be an awesome asset to the MCU. What do you think?
