Jodie Comer, Tom Hardy and Austin Butler Join the Cast of Jeff Nichol's THE BIKERIDERS
Director Jeff Nichols (Mud, Take Shelter, Midnight Special) is getting ready to shoot his next film project, The Bikeriders, and the cast of the film has been announced. Jodie Comer (Free Guy), Austin Butler (Elvis) and Tom Hardy (Venom) are set to star in the movie.
The movie is a fictional story inspired by the photography of Danny Lyon and his 1967 book The Bikeriders. The story is set in the 1960s “following the rise of a fictional Midwestern motorcycle club. Seen through the lives of its members, the club evolves over the course of a decade from a gathering place for local outsiders into a more sinister gang, threatening the original group’s unique way of life.”
Nichols is a talented filmmaker and this is going to be an interesting project for him to take on. I have no doubt he’ll make another great film, especially with the talented cast that he’s brought on board.
The film is set up at New Regency and will start shooting in October.
