John Boyega Joins The New Netflix Thriller REBEL RIDGE From GREEN ROOM Director Jeremy Saulnier

John Boyega (Star Wars) is set to star in a new thriller being produced by Netflix called Rebel Ridge. The best part about this project is that it’s being written and directed by Jeremy Saulnier, who is the director of films such as Green Room, Blue Ruin, and Hold the Dark. Those are all great films and I’m excited to see what he’s got cooking for Rebel Ridge.

The upcoming movie will be “a high-velocity thriller that explores systemic American injustices through bone-breaking action sequences, suspense and dark humor.” We don’t have any other story details to share, though.

Boyega will next be seen back in the role of Finn in the final chapter of Lucasfilm’s Skywalker saga, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for him in Saulnier’s new movie.
