John Boyega Will Confront a Far-Right Terrorist Group in Director Gavin Hood's THE TEST

Director Gavin Hood (X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Ender’s Game, Eye In The Sky) is set to direct an adaptation of the Sylvain Neuvel novella The Test. John Boyega (Star Wars) and Payman Maadi (Westworld, A Seperation) are set to star in the film.

The film will tell the story of "a soft-spoken immigrant (Maadi) taking a citizen evaluation test, and a brilliant young behavioral psychologist (Boyega) supervising “the test” confront a terrorist group lead by a far-right fanatic.”

The film is described as a contained thriller and Hood talked about the film calling it “a heart-pounding psychological thriller, set in an authoritarian near-future that grabbed me by the throat and left me reeling.”

Entertainment One hopes that this will be Boyega’s next film project. Does this sound like something you might be interested in seeing?
