John C. Reilly Reportedly Signs On For WRECK-IT RALPH 2
I loved Wreck-It Ralph, and I imagine if you're a fan of this site, you probably did too. It's a wonderful imagining of the lives of famous (and not-so-famous) video game characters, and it's truly one of the best animated movies of the past decade.
Director Rich Moore has mentioned how, should a sequel ever happen, he'd love to bring Ralph and the rest of the lovable game characters into the world of online gaming, which sounds like a terrific next step in the story. And now we may be one step closer to that actually happening, since Irish radio producer Penny Hart reportedly spoke with star John C. Reilly (the voice of Ralph) in an interview, and the actor announced that he has signed on for a sequel:
I can't imagine why she would just make something like that up, especially years after the original came to theaters, so let's give her the benefit of the doubt and assume that this is true. As long as Moore comes back to direct, I'll be very excited about this project. We're waiting to hear something official from Disney, but in the meantime, what do you think about the possibility of Wreck-It Ralph 2?
