John Carpenter Returning to Score HALLOWEEN KILLS and HALLOWEEN ENDS

Director David Gordon Green is getting ready to shoot the next two Halloween sequels, Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends, back-to-back. I’m actually pretty excited to see how this new vision of the classic horror franchise plays out and comes to an end.

Fans of the franchise will be happy to learn that John Carpenter will be returning to score the two films. In a recent interview with CB, he was asked about scoring Halloween and he said:

“I loved it, It was a lot of fun. And I’ll do the score, do a new score. That’s always fun.”

We still don’t have any story details to share with you, but Halloween Kills will be released on Friday, October 16, 2020 and Halloween Ends will be released on Friday, October 15, 2021. Green is also co-writing the films with Danny McBride, Scott Teems, Paul Brad Logan, and Chris Bernier.

Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer, and Andi Matichak are all set to reprise their roles in the next two Halloween sequels. Michael Myers actors Nick Castle and James Jude Courtney will also reprise their shared role in the films.
