John Cena's Action Comedy Film OFFICER EXCHANGE Has Been Picked Up by Amazon Studios

John Cena (Blockers, The Suicide Squad, Peacemaker) is set to star in a new action comedy film titled Officer Exchange, which has just been picked up by Amazon Studios. The script for the film was written by Ben Zazove and Evan Turner, and in it, “Cena will play Shepard ‘Shep,’ a wrecking ball of a cop who teams up with an Indian police officer to take down a diamond smuggling ring in India.”

Peacemaker producers EP Peter Safran and producer John Rickard of The Safran Company are producing the project for Amazon. Cena is executive producing.

This sounds like a fun new project for the busy actor. I like him in this type of role, and look forward to the new comedy.
