Alexandra Daddario and Jon Cho Team Up For Horror Thriller INGROUND
John Cho and Alexandra Daddario are set to star in the upcoming horror-thriller Inground, a chilling new project from director Aaron Katz (Gemini) and a screenplay by Dan Dworkin, whose credits include American Horror Story.
Cho, known for his work in Star Trek and Searching, will share the screen with Daddario, who has starred in The White Lotus and Mayfair Witches.
The story itself takes a simple suburban setup and twists it into something terrifying. The logline reveals:
“A recently divorced father attempts to reconnect with his young son by building a swimming pool in his backyard that they can both enjoy over the course of a long, hot summer. What begins as an exciting project turns into a terrifying nightmare.”
The movie is being produced by Ridley Scott, Michael Pruss, and Sam Roston for Scott Free Productions, alongside Joshua Harris and Nathan Klingher of Gramercy Park (The Surfer), which is also financing the film.
Production on Inground is set to start on March 2026. With Cho and Daddario leading the cast and a creative team that knows how to deliver gripping genre stories, Inground is shaping up to be a horror project worth keeping an eye on.
