A Quiet Place has been hailed both as an entertaining horror film and inventive film at the box office, and after watching, it isn't hard to see why. For those that haven't seen it yet or don't get it, director/actor John Krasinski breaks it all down in one of the film's opening scenes and shared some details even folks who saw it may not have picked up on: 

In the horror movie "A Quiet Place," John Krasinski and Emily Blunt play a couple trying to protect their family from a threat that attacks when noise is made. Here, Mr. Krasinski, who also directed, talks about an early scene and how he and his team worked to create sound from different characters' perspectives, including from that of the couple's deaf daughter Regan, played by the deaf actress Millicent Simmonds.
