John Krasinski Would Love to Play Mr. Fantastic in a FANTASTIC FOUR Movie
John Krasinski is currently doing the press tour for his new film A Quiet Place which looks really good. However, Screen Rant decided to ask Krasinski if he’d be interested in being a superhero in the future, specifically, if he’d want to be Mr. Fantastic with his wife Emily Blunt (who is also starring in A Quiet Place) as the Invisible Woman. His response was, of course, positive:
The casting could work really well. They’ve both been up for superhero roles before; Krasinski was in the running to play Steve Rogers until he dropped out, and Blunt, while denying being up for the role of Carol Danvers, was in the running for Black Widow and Peggy Carter. Clearly, the roles went to other actors who have done a fantastic job, but maybe now’s the time for them to step up and don some spandex. Blunt has proven she can be a BAMF in Edge of Tomorrow and will prove she can be nurturing in Mary Poppins Returns. Krasinski was a good normal guy as Jim Halpert in The Office and will star in the Jack Reacher series for Amazon. This may be a great real-life couple to cast for a new Fantastic Four movie. Here’s some awesome fan art of Krasinski as Reed Richards.
Do you think Krasinski would be a good choice to take on the role of Mr. Fantastic for Marvel when they eventually get around to making a Fantastic Four movie?
