John Malkovich and Mark Ruffalo Join Sam Rockwell in WILD HORSE NINE
John Malkovich and Mark Ruffalo are set to star alongside Sam Rockwell in the upcoming film project Wild Horse Nine. The movie comes from director Martin McDonagh, who previously helmed Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.
Unfortunately, there are no details regarding the story, but it will start production in March in Rapa Nui, the indigenous name for Easter Island, a protected Chilean wildlife area known for its unrivaled cultural landscape.
This seems like a very interesting shooting location, and it’s explained that the Rapa Nui National Park continues “to maintain a high degree of authenticity, having had minimal intervention since the area’s near abandonment in the late 19th Century.”
This project is the third film that Rockwell and McDonagh have worked on together. They also worked together on Seven Psychopaths, Six Shooter, and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.
I’m looking forward to seeing what comes of this film because I enjoy the director’s previous movies which also include In Bruges and The Banshees of Inisherin.
