John McClane Is Back in Action in Great DIE HARD-Themed Commercial
Yesterday, we shared a promo spot for a Die Hard inspired project that came with the hashtag, “Die Hard is Back.” Well, it turns out that this was all for a DieHard car battery commercial.
While a lot of fans would have liked to see Bruce Willis back in the role of John McClane in another movie, this car battery commercial is going to have to do for now. It’s only two minutes long, but it’s pretty damn entertaining! It’s filled with humor and action.
A new chapter in the DieHard story begins. Watch as John McClane faces off against old foes and crosses paths with old friends. From fighting his way to Advance Auto Parts to racing against the clock to install his new DieHard Battery – McClane will stop at nothing, to start his car again.
McClane is joined by Argyle (De'voreaux White) to help in his latest adventure and Theo (Clarence Gilyard) to hinder it. There are few other callbacks to the original Die Hard film in the commercial that I’m sure fans will get a kick out of. Check it out!
