John Slattery Will Reportedly Return as Howard Stark in AVENGERS 4 and We Have Some Details

Some new information has come to light regarding Avengers 4 and they include the rumored return of John Slattery as Howard Stark. There's some interesting information here that will have fans speculating but if you don't want to know what these details are:

According to That Hashtag Show, Slattery was spotted on the set of Avengers 4 filming scenes with Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark. We don't know the nature of those scenes, but it sounds like they will share some together.

The two shared a scene together in Captain America: Civil War thanks to Tony's B.A.R.F. technology. The report says that B.A.R.F. has been spotted on the Avengers 4 set so it’s possible that Tony is using it to revisit some conversations he had with his father about the Tesseract.

But, maybe they will actually have Tony travel through time to meet his dad. After all, we've already seen set photos that tease the possibility of time travel with Ant-Man meeting up with the Avengers from the first film during the battle of New York. Ant-Man and The Wasp certainly teased the possibility of time travel.

If time travel is an element that will be used, it makes me wonder if Tony will use it to try and right some wrongs in the past and save the world and his father. The report goes on to say:

A few months back, Avengers 4 was described to me as “time travel heist” film. That was before rumors of rewrites and changes to the film came up, but given what we’ve seen from set photos, that certainly seems to fit. The idea of a “time travel heist” film also ties in with the other VERY interesting information that we are digging more into now.

Joe and Anthony Russo have started reshoots on the film that are going to include ongoing changes, so anything could happen or change from what we all think we know between now and the time the movie comes out.

What do you think about these recently revealed details?
