JOHN WICK: CHAPTER 3 – PARABELLUM Is Already Kicking Up Some Awesome Fan Art

All we’ve seen of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum is the trailer, and already fans are super-hyper-excited. Which, of course they are. Keanu Reeves is riding a horse and fighting off katana-wielding assassins on motorcycles in the damn thing! (I may have also mentioned that in this article about a recut trailer, but it’s so freaking good! How could I not talk about it?!) The official posters released by the studio have actually been outstanding, which is always a pleasant surprise. But what about the fan art inspired by the trailer?

A couple of Poster Posse artists have taken a crack at it, and I love both pieces. The first one is by Simon Delart, and it shows John Wick rocketing backward, guns drawn, as he is chased by said katana-wielding, motorcycle-riding assassins. (See? I told you they were the best part.) (Also I am sorry I had to crop it for the header.)

The next comes from Eileen Steinbach, aka SG Posters. I really love the simplicity of this one. It catches the whole concept of the film with only a few images. John Wick walks into New York alone with bullets literally raining down on him. Brilliant.

Both artists have also been tweeting alternate posters for all of the Oscar Best Picture nominees, so you should check out SG Posters’ and Simon Delart‘s twitter pages here and here, respectively.

John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum hits theaters on May 17, and I cannot wait.
