JOHN WICK Director Chad Stahelski Set To Helm a Kaiju Series Titled PROJECT NEMESIS

John Wick franchise director Chad Stahelski is set to helm a series adaptation of Jeremy Robinson’s The Nemesis Saga novel series. The series is titled Project Nemesis and it’s a kaiju thriller! Yes, the director of John Wick is making a kaiju thriller and it sounds like an awesome story!

The first season of the series will tell the story of the first book, and in the story, “when the DNA of Nemesis, the Greek goddess of vengeance, is merged with that of Maigo, a murdered little girl, the resulting trauma-fueled kaiju rampages from the backwoods of Maine to the streets of Boston in search of their killer. Heading up the response to this otherworldly threat is Jon Hudson, a sarcastic DHS agent whose leadership of the agency’s Paranormal division was a joke—until now.”

Stahelski said in a statement, “I can’t say how excited I am to help bring Jeremy Robinson’s Project Nemesis to the screen. From the first moment I started reading it, I was hooked. This amazing book series has everything I love about the genre: martial arts, action, great characters, and of course, Kaiju!”

There’s no doubt this show is going to deliver some incredibly fun and exciting entertainment, and I can’t wait to see what Stahelski does with it. He’s just so good at directing action films, and to see that talent used for a Kaiju story is going to be great!
