Johnny 5 is Alive in New SHORT CIRCUIT-Inspired Fan-Made LEGO Build
Johnny 5 is alive! Damn, when I was a kid I sure did enjoy the 1986 movie Short Circuit. That was such a fun and charming flick and who didn’t love that loveable robot Johnny 5!?
For those of you who are also fans of the movie, a fan has created and submitted a Johnny 5 LEGO build to LEGO Ideas for your vote! The model was created by RJ BrickBuilds and it comes complete with a motorized drivetrain using LEGO Powered Up motors! Johnny’s body, arms, head, and laser module can all also be controlled using the Powered Up app. You can even pose his eyebrows if you want.
The LEGO model was made from 2,711 pieces and it’s actually a pretty good size! It’s 23.2″ tall, and it weighs 6.24 pounds. That’s a hefty LEGO build and one that I would totally buy if it ends up getting voted into existence! You can vote for it here.
