Johnny Knoxville Says JACKASS 4 is a Possibility
If Johnny Knoxville and the rest of the guys of Jackass aren't careful, their gonna die doing what made them famous. I loved watching that stupid show and all the movies that have been made under the Jackass brand have been entertaining. It's just fun watching a bunch of guys do stupid-ass things.
According to Knoxville, they may not be done torturing themselves yet. While talking to Entertainment Weekly, the franchise star was asked if there would ever be a Jackass 4, and this was his reply:
"It’s possible, for sure. It’s not like we’re saying no. If we did do a new one, we’d have to bring in some new younger guys— just to bring some fresh blood into it. But it’s possible."
At 47-years-old Knoxville would definitely have to bring in a new generation. Someone's got to carry the torch for him after he blasts himself off into space in a homemade rocket ship. He goes on to say he already has plenty of new ideas for pranks and stunts for a fourth film:
"I still write ideas down, just in case I get that twitch again. We’re sitting on a ton of new ideas. There was so many that we didn’t get to shoot for Jackass 3. [Many unused bits that they did film wound up on 2011’s straight-to-video Jackass 3.5.] We have more ideas than we could shoot for Jackass 4, I’ll tell you that."
Well, if Knoxville ends up getting the gang back together for another adventure of pain and chaos, I'll watch it! It's been eight years since the last Jackass movie came out.
Knoxville's latest film, Action Point, is currently out in theaters but it's not doing too well at the box office at the moment. I'll be headed to the theater later this week to go see it. I've heard it's pretty funny, though!
