Jon Favreau Teaming with BBC to Produce Doc Series PREHISTORIC PLANET for Apple

Director Jon Favreau has teamed up with BBC Studios’ Natural History unit to produce Prehistoric Planet, which will use CGI to tell the story of the dinosaurs over the last 66 Million years. BBC’s Natural History unit is behind the hit series Planet Earth and Blue Planet.

Favreau will co-executive-produce the series for Apple and is a great fit since he was behind the beautiful CGI produced movie The Jungle Book. I know a lot of kids and adults who will be excited to see this series and get an up close look at the beauty and history that is the prehistoric age.

In fact, I know a kid named Kai who should actually be a consultant on this series because he knows the names, spelling, and basic facts of every dinosaur. Not an exaggeration, this kid is a genius. He always asks me my favorite dinosaurs and I just say the ones I can remember.
